Would you trust your Lincoln football team to draft your fantasy team? Your Own Lincoln Lynx football players have some fresh opinions on who to keep your eyes on in the upcoming fantasy weeks.
Sam Whitney (’26), wide receiver #13, says “if you’re not starting these 3 players, what are you doing?”
Whitney’s top 3 spotlight players of the week are the Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, who Sam told us “rushed for 3 touchdowns this Sunday and should continue to produce at that level.”
Whitney’s second pick is The Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, who continuously breaks out big runs, carrying fantasy teams on his back. Bijan also plays the role of a receiving back, leading to more targets on top of the high volume of handoffs he already gets. Whitney’s final pick was Amon Ra St Brown, a player who in Sam’s words, “Consistency has proven very powerful as a solid option for guaranteed points week in and week out.”
Olaf Barradas (’26) warned saying “follow my advice at your own risk,” when making some controversial takes on who you should NOT start and who you should drop immediately. Barradas suggests staying away from Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Jamar Chase. These players cost very high draft picks and possibly pass up on other talents that you may overlook. Although all these players have performed seemingly well this year, Barradas sees the bigger picture and believes the biggest stars are not the most important thing when it comes to building a championship team.
Barradas is all about Joe Burrow; he’s a total QB stud when he’s healthy and on the field, the Bengals throw the ball a ton, and Burrow is super accurate, giving his wide receivers a huge upside. He also thinks Nick Chubb Texans running back is a safe pick because he’s a guaranteed powerhouse running back who gets a ton of touches.
“Chubb’s rushing skills mean he’ll be a consistent top 10 for your team every single week,” says Barradas. His biggest sleeper pick is Daniel Jones, arguing that his running ability gives him a super high weekly floor meaning the possible points he could get every week is very high if he performs his best. “Jones rushed for 700+ yards and 7 TDs in 2022 shows his unexpected QB1 potential,” says Barradas.
Trusting your Lincoln football team’s advice for your fantasy team just might grant you points and an advantage over the rest of your league. Whitney and Barradas share the most up to date, and credible tips for your Fantasy team.
