It’s the end of the winter season! Last edition, we held a mock fantasy draft, showcasing Lincoln athletes for the winter season and put them on teams run by our sports staff writers. Here are the end of season stats from the Mayer’s Players Winter Draft. Much like the fall draft, we scored all of the individuals on the winter fantasy draft board based on their performance throughout the season. Each performance is ranked out of 25 based on the copious research that our team carried, from interviews to surveys of teammates, coaches, and fans. It has been a great athletic season for all the Lynx, and we are hoping playoffs go splendid for all the winter teams.

Team Josiah pulled away with yet another decisive win scoring 69 points, carried by strong basketball performances from Hugo Henrickson (’25) and Lou Shernoff (27′), the former shattering school scoring records with over 1000 career points, and drawing double teams the whole season. Additionally, Lou was a fantastic shooter and player proving her worth to the team as just a sophomore. Team Lily on the other hand was struggling this season with injuries, notably from Devon Nobil (25)’ who missed many games, as reflected in her score. The race for second place was very close, with Nate pulling it out thanks to some consistent performances from all his athletes!
Stay tuned for the spring draft coming in the next edition!
