Hi, and welcome back! I hope you enjoyed the last issue, and as promised, the class focused on in this second edition is going to be AP United States History (APUSH).

When conducting interviews around the school about which classes pose the most challenge for its participants, the second most frequent answer from those who had taken the class was APUSH.

When talking to the participants of the subject, I soon found that the reasons behind most struggles include “[the] Khan Academy piling up,” and the fact that “there is so much content you have to remember, and there is not enough time in class to cover it.” (Anonymous)

I myself don’t have the best time in the class, and the workload it presents. It is for this reason that the solutions presented in this edition have been gathered from my fellow classmates, who have been succeeding in this course. So without further ado, here are some ideas that may help APUSH become less stress-inducing:

  1. “Stay present in class, [and use your resources]. Heimler? Great. Liveable? Great. Quizlet? Great. Mr. Da’Amico? Great. My grandma, who is 90 years of age? Great.” -Olivia H, 11th
  2. “Making timelines. [They] help you remember key events and why they happened, and provide a review of the time period in your head. [Also make] short study guides before unit tests.” -Carson J, 11

That’s all for this round, folks. See you next time!
