How did you find your style?

“I do costume design for the theater program so I think I approach each outfit that I wear as a costume for myself, kind of. I think about it as putting together a theme and then it just goes together.”

Where do you pull inspiration from?

“Definitely movies like Clueless– I personally really like the fashion in Disney’s Descendants. I think it’s really cool how they deconstruct everything.

How did you find your style?

“I started to expand my fashion sense at the beginning of the year. I honestly started by looking up things on TikTok and stuff, but after a while, I just started to look around at people wearing good fits and started to take inspiration from that.”

Where do you pull inspiration from?

“My friends who moved to Singapore, Hugo Horn and Felix Horn, and my friend Hugo Chun. They’re the ones that got me into fashion.”

Fashion tips?

“Don’t wear slim-fit jeans. Ever. And don’t be scared to try something new. You can find a form of self-expression in your fashion, so make sure it’s true to you.”

How did you find your style?

“Lately I’ve been really into chick-flicks and the early 2000’s fashion style, and that’s really inspired me to be a bit bolder with my outfit choices…for the most part, I like to make a statement with my outfits because you only live once”.

Where do you pull inspiration from?

“Specifically the movies like Mean Girls, Clueless, and Legally Blonde– those kinds of movies. Like if all of those movies had a baby, it’d be me.”

Fashion tips?

“Just be bold, because at the end of the day, nobody cares. If you picture it like how you feel when you see someone else’s outfit, that’s basically how everyone else is seeing, which they don’t care. So do whatever you want. You’re going to get compliments more than insults.”

How did you find your style?

“I take inspiration from my friends and from people that I see in the hallways.”

Where do you pull inspiration from?

“Joan Jett. I’m gonna say the one person I can think of. I just really like her music but she’s sick, especially when she was younger.”

Fashion tips?

“I really like baggy pants. Maybe that’s just a me thing. Or, if you don’t like pants as much, the skirt and leg warmers combo is top-tier. And belts. Belts are important– I’m a firm believer in belts. I love belts. Like super blingy belts.”

How did you find your style?

“I don’t think I really have a style. I just find cool stuff from thrift stores and I just take stuff from my parents and my brother’s wardrobe. I just like putting on cool stuff, I guess. Even if it doesn’t work, if I feel comfortable in it, yeah.”

Where do you pull inspiration from?

“I’d say my mom– she’s a big inspiration. She kinda got me into the scene. I take her clothes a lot or I’ll see her wear something cool and I’ll try and copy it.”

Fashion tips?

“Copy people. If you see something cool, you just do it yourself and make it your own.”

How did you find your style?

“I just explored a bunch of different things. I tried things out… I love baggy clothes. I love streetwear style. I just really like comfortable clothes. I love baggy pants, I love baggy T-shirts. Love sweaters. Love all that stuff.”

Where do you pull inspiration from?

“Social media, and just fashion accounts.”

Fashion tips?

“Just wear whatever makes you happy. Don’t wear something just because you think other people will like it. If it makes you happy, go for it. Wear it.”
